Our journey
Ductus was founded in Skellefteå in 1989—then under the name Data Ductus—with a clear ambition to use IT to create real value for people and organizations. Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit rooted in technical know-how and genuine care, we early on built a way of working centered on close collaboration and long-term relationships. This culture has carried us from a small team in Skellefteå to an international presence in Sweden, North America, and Asia.
When Broviken became the majority owner in 2019, we gained momentum to accelerate our growth journey. Since then, we have acquired several successful companies—including BnearIT, Complit, and Tromb—and together we have broadened our offering and geographic presence.
Over the past four years, we have nearly doubled our revenue and are now approaching 50 million USD—while maintaining stable profitability. This growth has made us a stronger, more complete partner—with the capacity of a larger player, yet the closeness and engagement that have always defined Ductus.
Despite this expansion, our culture continues to reflect our northern Swedish heritage: we are down-to-earth, reliable, and focused on long-term relationships. Many of our customer partnerships have lasted for decades—built on trust, collaboration, and genuine commitment.
