Ductus had the privilege of hosting the local Addher Awards ceremony in Luleå this year. “I couldn’t be any prouder or happier! Seeing our employees celebrated in this way highlights the energy and inspiration they bring, not just to our company but to our customers and the industry as a whole,” says Anders Hermanson, Site Manager for Ductus in Luleå.

“This is a company where I’ve rediscovered the joy and curiosity in my work,” says Alicia Grevsten. “I’m so grateful for my colleagues, who uplift and inspire me every day. This award means a lot, both personally and for our team.”

Julia Stål, who was unfortunately unable to attend the ceremony, shares her excitement: “I’m incredibly proud to receive this award. It’s an amazing feeling to be part of a company that values both performance and community so highly.”

Diversity and inclusion are core values for Ductus. A workplace that values different backgrounds and perspectives not only strengthens the company internally but also its relationships with customers. Creating a culture where talent can thrive and contribute fully is a cornerstone of the company’s success strategy.

Karin Sjöö Åkeblom, who won the prestigious national Role Model of the Year award, emphasizes the importance of initiatives like Addher: “Attracting more women to our industry is critical for our development and ability to innovate. Highlighting female role models is key to achieving this. I want to show young women how exciting and rewarding it is to work in IT and tech. Receiving both the local and national Role Model of the Year awards is an incredible honor.”

The awards ceremony came at an exciting time for Ductus in Luleå, where demand for the company’s services is strong. In 2024, the office grew by 16 new employees, and in 2025, the company plans to recruit at least 15 more.

With two local winners and a national recognition at the Addher Awards, Ductus looks forward to continuing to create a workplace where both people and innovation can thrive. “This is just the beginning of what we can achieve together,” concludes Anders Hermanson.
