Press release, Skellefteå, March 21, 2022: Data Ductus, a leading international IT consulting company based in Skelleftea, Sweden, has strengthened its presence in northern Sweden with the acquisition of IT consultants BnearIT. Through this acquisition, the combined headcount of the companies is around 340 people.
Large-scale investment in green industry in northern Sweden has created a considerable demand in the region for innovative digital and automation solutions. To increase its ability to meet this demand, Data Ductus has acquired BnearIT, a 40-person strong company currently offering system development services across northern Sweden.

We now have even greater capacity and more skilled consultants; together we can create a platform for future growth.”
BnearIT will continue to operate under its existing brand name and leadership and its founders will remain minority owners. The companies’ offices in Luleå will be merged and a combined office will be set up in Umeå.
