Meet Gunilla, Bid Manager who thrives at the intersection of business and technology
Gunilla had never imagined a career in tech. But when she discovered Ductus – and realized that her ability to create structure, communicate, and build relationships also belonged in the industry – she took the leap. Today, she is a vital link between technology and business.
Getting into tech
Gunilla’s journey into tech didn’t start with a passion for technology – but with a desire to help people and create sustainable solutions. When she came across Ductus, she immediately felt it was the right environment for her and decided to take the leap into the industry. She started in a team responsible for maintaining and developing a client platform for administrative systems, quickly taking on a key role as a bridge between business and IT.
Over time, her interest grew in finding solutions that create real value for the customer. She learned the importance of clear communication, structure, and professional consulting. Sales became a natural extension of that work – and today she works as a Bid Manager, responsible for setting the right conditions for our business deals.

My workday
A typical day for Gunilla involves identifying customer needs – and translating them into offers that match the right expertise, both internally and externally. She’s part of both the sales and delivery teams and helps create new relationships, nurture existing ones, and uncover business opportunities.
– It’s about creating the right conditions for collaboration – between clients, colleagues, and partners. That’s when things start to happen.

Advice to other women
– There are so many different skills needed in tech. Being good at communicating, understanding business, and building trust – that’s also tech.
When I’m not working…
– I like spending time with family and friends, preferably doing something outdoors. I enjoy planning trips – and I’ve become better at prioritizing time for myself. I tailor my workouts to how I feel that day – it gives me space to reflect and recharge.
