D\u00e4rf\u00f6r har m\u00e5nga av dem valt att outsourca Service Desk-funktionen till externa tj\u00e4nsteleverant\u00f6rer. Somliga placerade i avl\u00e4gsna l\u00e5gl\u00f6nel\u00e4nder och endast tillg\u00e4ngliga via e-post eller telefon. Den trenden har numera v\u00e4nt, vilket exempelvis Gartner har uppm\u00e4rksammat i sin hype cycle for ITSM d\u00e4r de 2017 listade \u201dLokal support\u201d och \u201dIT-supportchat\u201d som tv\u00e5 topptrender.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-darfor-outsourcades-service-desk-funktionen\">D\u00e4rf\u00f6r outsourcades Service Desk-funktionen<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Hade de outsourcade Service Desk-teamen gjort ett d\u00e5ligt jobb? Var det d\u00e4rf\u00f6r trenden v\u00e4nde? Inte n\u00f6dv\u00e4ndigtvis. Det saknas f\u00f6rst\u00e5s inte exempel p\u00e5 irriterade kunder som f\u00e5tt st\u00e5ngas med Service Desk-personal som helt saknar dom\u00e4nexpertis och d\u00e4rf\u00f6r inte kan l\u00f6sa deras problem. Men m\u00e5nga organisationer har tv\u00e4rtom varit n\u00f6jda med de tj\u00e4nster som tillhandah\u00e5lls av deras geografiskt avl\u00e4gsna partners, det \u00e4r allts\u00e5 inte l\u00e5gt f\u00f6rtroende f\u00f6r tj\u00e4nsteleverant\u00f6rerna som \u00e4r den fr\u00e4msta drivkraften bakom denna f\u00f6r\u00e4ndring. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ist\u00e4llet b\u00f6r man se den h\u00e4r utvecklingen i ljuset av andra relaterade trender. Vanliga f\u00f6rklaringsmodeller \u00e4r bland andra:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Slutanv\u00e4ndarnas f\u00f6rv\u00e4ntningar. Teknikvana slutanv\u00e4ndare som i sitt privatliv anv\u00e4nder otaliga tekniska prylar f\u00f6rv\u00e4ntar sig lika bra support p\u00e5 jobbet som de f\u00e5r som privatkonsumenter.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mobilitet. Med den \u00f6kade anv\u00e4ndningen av smartphones och surfplattor har vi i arbetslivet blivit mer mobila och uts\u00e4tts d\u00e4rmed f\u00f6r fler d\u00e5liga anv\u00e4ndargr\u00e4nssnitt.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>En liknande f\u00f6rklaring som m\u00e5nga analytiker n\u00e4mner \u00e4r trenden att allt fler anv\u00e4nder sina privata telefoner och surfplattor p\u00e5 jobbet, trenden kallas BYOD (bring your own device).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Med digitaliseringen f\u00f6r\u00e4ndras v\u00e5ra f\u00f6rv\u00e4ntningar p\u00e5 bra service, och v\u00e5ra krav p\u00e5 Service Desk-personalen \u00f6kar. Aff\u00e4rsprocesser som helt f\u00f6rlitar sig p\u00e5 digitaliserad automatisering beh\u00f6ver st\u00f6d av personal med stor dom\u00e4nexpertis.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-molntjanster-och-multi-sourcing\">Molntj\u00e4nster och multi-sourcing<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Alla de h\u00e4r f\u00f6rklaringsmodellerna \u00e4r fullt rimliga, men vi tror att en annan anledning \u00e4r precis lika viktig: de stora organisationernas tendens att anv\u00e4nda fler leverant\u00f6rer och molnbaserade tj\u00e4nster. En lokal Service Desk-funktion som medarbetarna kan bes\u00f6ka p\u00e5 plats ers\u00e4tter inte andra Service Desk-kanaler \u2013 den kompletterar dem. Idag \u00e4r v\u00e5ra arbetsplatser ofta beroende av ett stort antal tj\u00e4nster fr\u00e5n en l\u00e5ng rad leverant\u00f6rer \u2013 interna, externa eller molnbaserade leverant\u00f6rer. D\u00e4rf\u00f6r m\u00e5ste du ibland prata med flera olika Service Desk-team f\u00f6r att l\u00f6sa \u00e4ven ett till synes enkelt problem. Samtidigt kommer \u00e4ven en lokal Service Desk att vara beroende av leverant\u00f6rernas och molntj\u00e4nsternas egna supportfunktioner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vi tror med andra ord att trenden med den lokala anv\u00e4ndarsupportens \u00e5terkomst bara kan f\u00f6rst\u00e5s om man samtidigt v\u00e4ger in \u00e4ven trenden med multi-sourcing och molntj\u00e4nster. Det h\u00e4r \u00e4r samma utveckling som g\u00f6r ett SIAM-lager (Service Integration and Management) n\u00f6dv\u00e4ndigt inom organisationen. Moderna organisationer beh\u00f6ver s\u00e4tt att samordna tj\u00e4nster som i sin tur \u00e4r beroende av flera niv\u00e5er av anv\u00e4ndarsupport \u2013 f\u00f6rsta linjen, andra linjen och tredje linjen. Att ge slutanv\u00e4ndarna lyxen att ha en enda kontaktpunkt blir d\u00e4rf\u00f6r nyckeln till framg\u00e5ng.
