The Role
This role is part of our business area Network Orchestration and Automation. We are a world leader in software development for advanced network automation, and our customers includes internet service providers and other companies with large and complex networks.
You will work in an international environment with the primary focus on the European market. This role is a Sales Hunter role with focus in creating a healthy funnel and closing new business within the Network Automation area. Knowledge in automation of telecom and enterprise networks will be necessary to be successful in this role.
You will be reporting to the Director of Sales Network Automation and be part of our Business Development team.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years experience in Telecom SW and/or Services sales
- Ability to travel in Europe at around 25%-35%
- A Hunter mentality
- Experience in direct sales
- Highly motivated, self-starters, eager to learn and determined to adapt quickly
- Good presentation skills and the ability to position a market leading solution
- Familiar with strategic account selling methodologies
- Ability to build long and trusting client relationships to become the voice of the customer
- Fluent in English
Preferable skills:
- Demonstrable track record of successfully selling leading edge network related technology solutions into large telecom accounts.
- Technical knowledge of networks (mobile, fixed, fiber)
- Network Automation technologies
- Contact network within the European telecom sector
- Knowledge in one additional language, e.g. German, Spanish or French is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Prospect new accounts, do lead generation and perform sales meetings’
- Develop an overall account strategy leading to the deployment of a well-executed selling effort into the assigned territory/accounts.
- Sell new accounts, customer satisfaction, and retention of Ductus services
- Overachieve on sales targets by developing pipeline along with a high level of forecast accuracy
- Territory will be within Europe and can shift over time
